This Citronic CDMX1 is an impressive all-in-one combination of a dual cd/mp3 player and a 2-channel mixer, with usb device playback, all housed in a solid metal case. A complete and integrated dj system for mobile dj's, bar dj's or bedroom dj's, the cdmx1 offers flexible functionality with jog wheel controlled cd playback. The mp3 compatible cd decks have pitch control, an impressive seamless loop function and 40 seconds of anti-shock protection per deck. A large centralised lcd display presents a wealth of information right under the dj's fingertips. To further the cd and mp3 cd playback, the Citronic cdmx1 also has dual usb inputs (one per deck), to which you can connect mp3 players, usb memory sticks or even usb hard drives. The Citronic cdmx1 gives fully functioning control (including loop feature!) over the mp3 media on any such usb device, meaning this is not only a dual cd combo, but a digital media dj system too. Switching between cd and mp3 source can be done independently on each deck, and you can mix any audio source with any audio source. You can even connect up external decks via auxillary inputs on the unit. The integrated two channel mixer, offers a 3-band eq with gain control allows for seamless mixing right at the heart of the console. A fader star trigger is built-in to the unit, and with a choice of balanced xlr outputs, or rca, it is set for connection to any audio system straight out of the box. Additional features, such as programmable playback and single / continuous / repeat play modes and a rack mountable design, all add to the versatility of this very well built, and very efficient, comprehensive all-in-one dj solution.
