Yamaha MSP5 active studio monitors. The compact design of these superb MSP-5 monitors make them an ideal choice for smaller project studios and production systems. The Yamaha MSP5 feature a 5 inch woofer and 1 inch dome tweeter, both driven by a total of 67 watts from 2 amplifiers. The woofer and titanium-dome tweeter feature advanced magnetic structures that achieve exceptionally low distortion, and the tweeter works with a unique waveguide horn that achieves broad, uniform high frequency dispersion over 120 degrees for optimum balance regardless of listening position. Along with their compact size and excellent performance, full magnetic shielding allows the Yamaha MSP5 speakers to be positioned near all types of audio, video, and computer equipment without sound degradation or negative effects on surrounding equipment. Connection is via balanced XLR and a 1/4" jack connection. Finally these brilliant monitors are equipped with four position low and three position high trim switches allowing you to optimize the sound for a wide range of acoustic envirtoments.
